About Me
- Name: MinaW
- Location: Northern Calif foothills
I have a long-standing interest in textiles & clothing, as well as a newer one in putting words, typography, and graphics together. If I had had any idea that such jobs existed, I would have wanted to be a textile designer. Two years ago I went back to school, and have been taking graphic design. I have sewn and made my own patterns for decades. For years, I made all my clothes from one pattern. I also dye & dye-paint, and am interested in wearable art. When I have made a piece of leaf-dyed fabric, I always want to use it in clothing. I've also made jewelry. I have always designed, it's who I am. My Cafepress store is a way to finally use some of my designs. For years, in my pre-computer days, I had a book-a-day habit.
